Heroic Dinner

After a whole days rest from being sick the day before,( yes people...heros do get sick now and then..i aint Superman u know...) our beloved hero finally decides to leave his humble abode to have his dinner. With one foot out of his house, our hero was stopped by rice that had been cooked peculiarly early, a few minutes ago. Another one of our hero's villianous brother's scheme to keep him in the house i suppose. Not willing to go down without a fight, our hero still intends to have his food, his way, and thus decides to make his own. Surprised at what our hero had decided to do, our hero's father just let our hero go nuts to cook for the whole family.

Aaaa...here we see our hero's ingredients all layed out in full glory...

Here we see the preparation for our hero's famous omelette pancake...mmm..

Here's our hero's mixture of chicken cubes, beaten egg white, light soy sauce, honey and of course, a dash of glorious MARTEL...mmm...(for those of you who are wondering, Martel=Liquor)

Here we see the little cubes of chicken being dipped in cornflour after being left to marinate in the sauce for about 15 minutes.

After staring for almost 10 minutes into a wok of boiling oil, our hero finally decides that it is finally time to deep fry the juicy little tender cubes.

After slaving over a hot stove for about an hour, our hero finally finishes making dinner for his family. A wholesome 3 course meal packed with wholesome goodness..and lots of..yes folks u guessed it...HEROism.

Here we have Deep Fried Honey and Liquor Chicken...mmm...this easily brings KFC's Popcorn Chicken to shame...

2ndly, we have Stir-Fried Bean Sprout with Garlic, Mini Dried Prawns and Chopped Sweet Onions...shiny goodness.....

Last of all...for the grand finale...we have our hero's Omelette Pancake drenched in Australian Honey...oh yea...looking at it, u already know its good...

All and all, our hero and his family had a delicious and satisfying meal. After receiving good comments and praises for his cooking, i'd say our all the time spent slaving behind a hot stove was worth while...

Although so...the meal wudnt be complete without soup...

So here's to the soup our hero's dad made...looks simple but who cares if it tastes good...lolz..

At the end of the day, our beloved hero was boiled down to a pulp after all the strenuous cooking. It aint easy preparing a whole meal for an entire family u know...

Moral of the story

"When your mum cooks a meal for the family, do eat the food and leave pleasant comments for your mum regarding the food. She deserves at least that much."

and also....

"Dont mess with housewives. With all the cooking and cleaning, the carrying the pots and pans....who knows how strong they have become." XD
